DO YOU KNOW WHAT CATALAN IS?

I'm a catalan teacher of SES Cervelló.
Catalan is a language of Catalonia.
The catalan a minoritary language as danish. It has 7.000.000 speakers.
This language is in the same family of spanish, french, italian...
Catalan speakers live at Spain, France, Andorra (one of the smaller countries of Europa) and a small town the island of Sardinia (Italy).

    Answers to Heino:
    There are some differences about catalan and spanish languages: phonetic, morfological and lexical differences. Catalan has common characterístics with the French.
    In Spain, the celebrations are differents from one town to another!
